Kirsty

I recently booked a trip to New York with my partner, a trip that we both wanted to be pretty special. There were a few things we really wanted to do and experiences we wanted to have – but hours trailing the internet was not something either of us had the time, nor ability to really do. Along came “Killed it Kirsty”. Kirsty was amazing to work with. She was always bubbly, and able to provide an opinion on what may or may not work, not to mention getting everything we wanted at an incredible rate. It was all so easy with the various documents all sent through in one easy email so that it was easy to track and use. Often the fear I had was that it wouldn’t work or that the “deal would be different” when I used a travel specialist – not with Kirsty – it was perfect. I would have NO hesitation recommending Kirsty to anyone wanting an amazing travel experience!

In 2013 my partner and I accompanied our good friends Sam & Glenda on a trip to Tuscany in Italy. This was my partner’s and my first trip to Italy for many years and not knowing Tuscany at all we agreed to leave the arrangements in the hands of their travel agent whom we had never met. That agent’s name was Kirsty Mitchell. The arrangements went off without a hitch. Not only did carry out specific travel requests, she also organised a hire car for us to pick up in Florence, and found us accommodation in what must be one of the most beautiful villas in Tuscany, near a place called San Giminiano. It was the perfect base for exploring the gorgeous Tuscan countryside, and beyond, and we had a superb and memorable holiday. Prior to our departure for Europe all the queries put to her, and requests asked of her were answered promptly, politely and in good humour. We could not have asked any more of her and have no hesitation in recommending her services to anyone travelling in the future.

We have been using Kirsty Mitchell of MTA Travel as our travel agent for the past three years. During that time, Kirsty has arranged a number of trips for us both to Europe and the USA and Canada. Kirsty has come to our home with her laptop and shown us various options for flights, tours and hotels. We have found this personalised service very helpful when planning our trips. Kirsty has always listened very patiently to our brief and then offered suggestions to improve on our holiday concept, whether it was airlines and organising flights then marrying them up to fit in with our plans, or European train trips and scheduling to help us arrive with less waiting and delays. Our holiday to Italy, in 2012, staying in a villa in Tuscany, was personally recommended by Kirsty. "Il Borghetto" was a wonderful family run villa near San Giminano and provided a two bedroom self contained villa for ourselves and our friends. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and we enjoyed some fabulous gourmet Italian dinners there during our stay. Also, Kirsty has arranged some excellent deals for us with car hire both in Italy and USA and everything has always gone smoothly with these. Kirsty always keeps us informed of how bookings etc are progressing and seeks ongoing confirmation from us that we are happy with the arrangements she is making. We will continue using Kirsty for all our holiday bookings and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attentive, efficient, as well as creative travel agent.
