About Mary
After 42 years' working in the travel industry and the last 23 years' as a holiday planner, I have decided to make a lifestyle change. After recommendations and research, I found that MTA – Mobile Travel Agents and their professional team had exactly what was required for me to provide complex and intricate holiday plans.
As a national company the support and security that MTA provides is crucial, this enables me to continue to give expert travel advise and complete travel plans for my clients with confidence. The variety of products available to sell is outstanding and their buying power is enormous providing so much diversity.
My love of travel started at a very early age, listening to my mother tell so many wonderful stories of ‘her' Italy. This along with never being bored when looking at an atlas or road directory (and now the internet!), meant I was never going to do anything else but travel or work in it.
My first trip was a cruise to Singapore on the Centaur then at 20 I embarked on a working holiday to England. I sailed out of Fremantle on the Ellinis, stopping in New Zealand for several months then sailed the Pacific and Atlantic on the Australis, via the Panama Canal, New York and ending in Southampton. I then spent a year working and travelling in England, Scotland and Europe.
I have spent many a summer and winter in Europe, have cruised the Baltic and Mediterranean Seas, cruised around the Pacific Coast of North America, bused and trained across Canada/USA, toured in Alaska and skied in Colorado, Austria and Australia.
I have an affinity for Ireland; I think this must be because of my name! And have a great love naturally for Italy; I never get tired sending clients to that beautiful part of the world.
My love of animals has taken me to Africa several times, there is something magical about that continent. I also love the amazing waterfalls of the world especially Iguazu; you can only try and explain the beauty of it. The accolades you receive from clients after returning from seeing one of these spectacular wonders makes this job so rewarding.
As I have been a holiday planner for so many years and built great relationships with my clients, working with MTA has allowed me to expand and continue to provide what I know best.
No plan is too hard, or destination too difficult to get to. The reward is when the trip is completed and an amazing time and experience has been had, it's very satisfying!
Now a nonna of two amazing little darlings, my lifestyle change means I can work with clients at any time that suits them, evenings and weekends and still have the time to be an important influence in their lives.
The adventure continues and I can't wait to work with you on any holiday you have in mind; I can make it happen.
