About Megan
I have worked in the travel industry for over 18 years, with 7 years at Flight Centre Toowoomba, including 3 years managing a store. I am delighted to have now joined MTA - Mobile Travel Agents of Australia, which gives me the opportunity to do the job I love, whilst still spending quality time with my children. As a mobile travel agent I am able to meet my clients at a time and place that suits them, I am available 24/7, and can offer the personal service I think everyone deserves, while still maintaining a good work/life balance.
As part of MTA, I can plan and create unique and tailor made trips for my clients, working with them to create their dream holiday. Unlike the major travel companies, I don't have affiliations to any particular airlines, tour companies, or wholesalers, so I am free to put together exactly the trip my clients want. I have loved discovering the amazing experiences and products that I can access through the Virtuoso network - opening the doors to truly special travel experiences.
I also work with corporate clients and understand the need for quick, efficient bookings. Being contactable any time means bookings and changes can be handled smoothly. From my days as a tour manager for school groups in Europe, I have always loved booking group trips, for schools, special interest groups or even just groups of friends. I work closely with the group, making sure we put together a suitable itinerary that runs without hitch.
I grew up in the UK and have travelled and worked extensively within Europe, including working in Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Lapland and Scotland as well as the UK.
I have also travelled to America, the Caribbean, Africa, Egypt, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Fiji, and New Zealand amongst others; and within Australia as well.
I can't wait to share some of these places with my children. Travelling with kids is a very different (and wonderful) experience, and I love to help families plan their trips, be it a week at the coast or a family safari in Africa.

Areas of specialty
Knowing Europe so well makes it one of my favourite places to book, especially putting together a unique trip tailor made just for my clients. I love putting together group tours, and have done a lot of work with school groups. And travelling with children is rapidly becoming another area of expertise!
