After 30 years of selling and co-ordinating client's holidays, it's surprising that it still gives me such a thrill. When the final itinerary and all the plans and documents are in place, and I'm am fine tuning dining reservations and theatre tickets - the excitement they feel during document turnover is contagious.

My career started with Travelscene some thirty odd years ago, and we were the Bali experts. From those humble beginnings, I have really grown with the industry. I have worked in both group travel and for the airlines, but for the most part, I've worked as an International Retail Travel Consultant. For many years I had my own business, but I have now decided to be a home based consultant. Choosing to join MTA (Mobile Travel Agents) was an easy decision - the infrastructure they have in place is second to none. Along with their support network and their buying power, I could not have made a better choice.

I am certainly in a very fortunate position having a database of my own with a loyal following of clients that I have had for more than 30 years. It is such a privilege to be entrusted with people's dreams and expectations. Selling travel can be so very rewarding. Receiving picture messages as client's holiday progresses, or the delight when they come across their hidden extras.

Whilst travelling can be so very wonderful, it can also be very stressful when things don't go according to plan. This is why I am such an avid believer that holiday planning is best done by the experts. Years and years of experience can avoid a lot of the pitfalls and having the knowledge and expertise to know what will really work best for your clients. One needs to consider so much with regards to airline reward programmes - which gives the greatest dollar value in points as well as status credits. It is so much more than just selling an airline ticket. It's not just the cost – it's the seating options - from First to Business, or Premium Economy to Economy - or a mixture of both. Which airline will include frequent flyer points and the best status credits? A similar scenario also this applies to selling cruises - one cruise line may be perfect for one holiday, but when the dynamics change, that cruise line may no longer be suitable. Like meets like, and with this carefully considered at planning stage, I have so many wonderful results with expectations exceeded.

I have been travelling extensively for over 30 years, and it is without question my absolute passion. I always like to have one holiday in the planning stage. Some more extravagant than others, but all are planned with careful consideration and detail.

It would be hard to say my favourite destination. We travel for a host of reasons - it would be more about my favourite holidays - and that is a hard choice. Cruising on The Amazon and catching Parana's was certainly an incredible experience. I am a most animated fishermen, and that experience came with lots of laughter. I have been to The Maldives a few times and I still find the beauty of this destination surreal. There has also been some magical moments – like the fireworks display at Disneyworld with my children. Seeing their faces light up and the thrill of sharing that experience with them. I still remember how blessed I felt right then.

Whatever your needs may be, it is my commitment to you, to ensure that I have done everything possible to make sure your holidays are as perfect as my own. I use my extensive knowledge and experience to choose - “what might not appear to be a perfect holiday for some – it will be perfect for you”.
