As a lifelong lover of travel and research, I enjoy helping others plan their next adventures, and am often finishing one holiday and booking the next (for myself!).
I love comfort travel which is why I enjoy cruise, oh the lazy mornings with no packing and unpacking while getting to experience different ports, places, history, currency, customs & food.
My favourite places (so far) are Bali, Hawaii, Vietnam, Alaska, Amsterdam, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand........ and so many more, all of Asia, Spain (really most places to be honest). I love cities for the culture, history, architecture and foodie-ness. I love the small rustic out of the way towns for their charm and history and people.
I sailed an Around the World Cruise in 2002 on Seabourn that was incredible, so many tiny out of the way places that you wouldn't ordinarily see with some incredible big cities, we usually docked right downtown which is a privilege and makes exploring so easy. I enjoyed 2 seasons in Alaska where you can drop your camera on your foot and still take the most beautiful photo, the scenery is silencing.
Nature, food, architecture, history, culture, finding out where you belong and where your ancestors came from and of course relaxing and getting away from it all, these are my reasons for what I do and the joy of sharing discoveries
(like how you never stop when walking across a road in Vietnam - if you know, you know, and so many more little travel secrets)
