About Melanie
Travel means many things to many people. For me, I enjoy the finer things in life, a comfortable journey, new experiences, new cultures and memories to last a lifetime. Travel is not optional anymore for me and my family, it's necessary.
My travel journey began when I was 17 years old and I convinced my best friend to join me on a South Pacific cruise to celebrate my 18th birthday and from that moment on I had caught ‘the travel bug' and there was no looking back. A few years later I took the leap and decided to make a career out of it and I absolutely love what I do.
I specialise in a variety of travel options including corporate, luxury, first & business class, groups, honeymoon, leisure and destination weddings.
I've travelled throughout Australia, Asia, Europe, USA, Bahamas, South Pacific and Tahiti Islands.
As a Virtuoso Agent I have worldwide contacts to ensure my clients are treated like a VIP during their stay with special extras you won't find elsewhere.
My most memorable trip: When I married my husband on a terrace in Paris overlooking the Eiffel Tower. We were surrounded by a handful of our nearest and dearest and enjoyed a formal dinner after the ceremony at The Four Seasons George V, Paris.
The destination I'm longing to return to: Bora Bora! The French food, wine, amazing scenery just like the postcards, it really is paradise. Tahiti Tourism have recognised me as one of their expert Tahiti specialists.
The destination I visit most often: Thailand! Three times in one year might seem excessive, but not for me! I've been to Bangkok, Khao Lak, Cape Panwa and Phuket (Kata, Karon, Patong, Kamala).
I have travelled:
Business Class; Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines
Economy; Thai Airways, Qantas, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Virgin, Jetstar, Tiger, Jetstar Asia, Air Asia X.
Cruise: P&O, Carnival and MSC
