I have a passion for travel particularly the food, culture and people you encounter along the way and love to share this with others. I love not only exploring the history and culture of a region but also am a bit of an adventure nut and have cycled, skied and trekked everywhere from Norway to Japan so understand what more independent travellers require on their journeys of a life time.
That being said I do like recovering from these adventures in a nice 4 or 5 star resort so understand the luxury end of travel as well. (Check out my photo in my travel diary of the floating hotel in Cambodia we stayed in after 8 days hard pedalling). I also have booked many family holidays for clients and with 3 boisterous kids I understand exactly how to put together a trip that blends together special times for mum and dad and exciting activities for the kids in family friendly destinations.
In the last 10 years I have personally researched and travelled to Scandinavia, UK, Netherlands, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Nepal, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Canada, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Bali. Many of these destinations I have travelled to on numerous occasions each time going to a different region and have participated in a huge range of activities, from cruising up the Mekong in a luxury sampan to mountain biking in the Dolomites and snow skiing in Japan...so I know the destinations and have compiled detailed trip notes on what to do and where to go.
Lastly I love finding deals and sorting all of those special details that truly make a holiday, such as a personal tour of a winery or a couple of nights in a magical hotel.
