Susan is passionate about travelling to have fun, meet different people/customs and to have new experiences. Following her passion she is now a MTA Travel Agent and since she became 'professional' her knowledge and interest have exploded. Having travelled widely with family, friends and MTA Susan has become an encyclopedia of worldwide possibilities for you - firstly she establishes what your goal is and where you would like to travel to then she maps out a program tailor-made for you and any companions. Many people I know use Susan to book quite simple airfares because they wish to have her troubleshooting backup should anything go wrong. Even when she is travelling Susan has her laptop to work or troubleshoot - it is only in remote places like Lao she is unavailable. I am lucky to have benefited from Susan's MTA journey since the beginning. Thanks to her I have walked, ridden bikes, hiked, adventured and been immersed in the culture of: NZ; Cambodia; USA; Cuba; Guatemala; Vietnam; Laos; Tasmania, Australia. She has my vote for planning a holiday that maximises the good times and minimises the unpredictability of travelling.

Susan has both delivered promptly and beyond my ability in our 3 trips planned with her, as well as providing a backup in our travels. I know it has provided challenges for her when on all our trips there have had be changes due unforeseen circumstances which she has helpfully and graciously helped us with. I have asked Susan to assist me in my travel plans twice now and each time her service has been exemplary! She knows how to book flights with no extended waits between connections and has a magnificent ability to find accommodation which is beyond anything I could have found within my price range. She has a wide experience of travel and can assist with recommendations on places to travel to if you ask. She is very quick to deliver, and I cannot recommend her any higher.

It is very difficult to put into words our appreciation for the efforts Sue had to go to, to “rescue “ our holiday when a shipping company withdrew their ship from service four days from departure. This whilst we were en route from Finland to Sweden. Without her help our trip would have been ruined. Sue has been organising our family travels and our mountainbike group travels all around the place both in Australia and overseas for a number of years. Also she is great at choosing accommodation in the perfect spot. She is very thorough and because of her years of knowledge of the industry, thinks about things that you haven't even thought about. If you want well organised travel you should reach out to her. You won't be disappointed.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday to Ireland, Iceland and Italy all totally organised by Susan. Every detail was covered. The accommodation we stayed in and the tours that we took were brilliant. And Susan organised all of this in a very tight time frame. Her suggestions were extremely helpful, even down to what clothes to take to Iceland. Everything went like clockwork. She is a great communicator and we were kept up to date with every step. Thank you for the referral to the correct website for visas (it only cost us$25.00 per visa, yet a friend was referred to another link via another travel agency which cost us$85 per visa, so we instantly saved money by coming to you!!) As two adults travelling with two teenagers, you managed to select just the right mix of organised private tours, and free time. Thanks for recommending and booking the Morocco Tour Sue. My daughter and I had a great time in the Medinas and markets, camel riding and glamping in the Sahara, dune climbing to watch the sunset, the amazing stars at night, seeing how traditional pottery, leather and carpets are made, walking the ancient irrigation channels, visiting the Unesco listed old towns. Our guide and fellow travellers were great and staff at the hotels we stayed in very supportive, even giving me a guide to take me to a pharmacy through the back alleys and maze of old markets in Casablanca. From the outset nothing seemed to be a bother or too difficult for Susan. Regardless of the triviality of the question or concern related to our travels she was all over it. My wife and I hadn’t travelled for several years and had set our sights on visiting China not knowing what to expect. Susan, due to her vast experience (personal travel and organising trips for others) provided us with several options all tailored to our personal interests which put us at ease. Her friendly advice, meticulous planning, regular follow-ups and easy accessibility were invaluable. The Wendy Wu “Wonders of China” Tour Susan recommended was great, providing us with so many experiences. Feasting on Peking duck and other exquisite Chinese cuisine, walking around Tiananmen Square and on the Great Wall, facing the Terracotta Army, cruising the Yangtze River, marvelling at the engineering feats of the Three Gorges Dam and Maglev Train, admiring the Panda Zoo, an Acrobatic Show, Shanghai’s bright lights, Jinmao Tower and the many parks, gardens and temple surrounds plus many more has provided us with a lifetime of memories.

Dear Susan and MTA team, Thankyou for your assistance with our travel bookings to Malaysia this July. It was easy to follow our travel plans using all the options available; particularly the MTA Travel App, which we downloaded with your recommendation. The App was easy to use and gave us regular updates when needed. Our flights with SilkAir were an easy 6 hours to Singapore, and onto KL. and return flights. I would use this carrier again; we experienced good attention to client detail and they were comparably priced with other budget airlines, thanks for their recommendation. Your travel service provided us with excellent planning options and advice. We had a great holiday meeting up with our friends in Malaysia and travelling together by hire car to the beautiful tea growing area of the Cameron Highlands, spectacular caves in tin mining region around Ipoh, the relaxing island of Perak and southward to experience the tangible history in Melaka. We are very much looking forward to using MTA travel service again when we plan our next trip!

We loved our second trip to Kapan - this time to Osaka and Kyoto. We had a wonderful experience thanks to all the expert planning and suggestions. Your recommendations kept everyone happy from the 9 year old to the 16 year old. Our accomodation was fantastic and our guide a pleasure to meet.

Hi Sue, Just a quick note to thank you for all your assistance with our third trip to Niseko Japan. Wajima was great. The position was perfect, size was great, tons of room for all of us to spread out, easy walk to the bus stop. HT are extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Your recommendation to catch the train back to Sapporo rather than using the bus as we normally do was great. I certainly didn't expect to see the ocean, the view was great.
