Initially Darren presented me with a couple of airline options for business class fares. After considering the options I went with Vietnam Airlines and report back that they were fabulous. The lounges were passable but the inflight service, meals, aircraft et al was fabulous. Darren listened to my verbal instructions which resulted in my satisfaction. I had been spoilt by Emirates business class in the past however their fares for business class reflect this level of class. The fare paid for VN was $2k less and just as good, not luxurious but very, very good. Comfortable flat-bed, quiet, quality. Darren was on point with his recommendations and this is because he’s a good listener! I have since directed friends to Darren with confidence knowing they’ll be looked after. I would not hesitate to return to Darren for my next trip away. He knows his stuff and leaves you to make the decision. Decision made he books you in, seat selects and replies with confirmation promptly. Highly recommended

I have had three overseas trips since then, including both business and holiday experiences. Darren is just fantastic to work with! My family live all over Australia, and often I want to include trips to see them, or to organise for them to come to me, before or after the overseas trip. Nothing is too much trouble for him, and nothing seems to faze him!! Working with a Mobile Travel Agent is very easy. It’s all online, with communication handled through phone and zoom meetings, and email. Payment is all done with secure safe payment links through my bank. Darren takes you through all of that, so you know what to do at each step. It’s marvellous to work with a travel agent who has so much experience. Especially his STA experience. I work in the Arts Industry so I don’t have much money for these trips, and he can really cater to a budget - his knowledge is immense. And I have benefited from sales he knows are coming up and been grateful for his cost saving advice on a number of issues; including what to watch out for in terms of scams during transit, or when it would be prudent to pay for a driver to meet you on arrival for safe travel to your accommodation. This gave me peace of mind and security. Darren's customer service is exceptional! For my most recent trip coming up at the end of this month, I will be travelling some of the time with my son. Apart from organising the complicated international/domestic/flight/bus and train travel, Darren also organised for us to stay at a LOT (like, 3 weeks’ worth) of bespoke, off-the-track hostel accommodation in order to visit some obscure historical sites in Europe! My most favourite story about Darren, is that during my last trip in 2023, I was involved in a series of serious flight holdups in the aftermath of a tragic bombing in an international city. I was completely safe, as the incident happened on the other side of the city to the airport, but the large (very large) international terminal was in absolute chaos for 24 hours. It was 1:00am my time, I was obvious I was going to miss the connecting flight, and I had no idea how long the delay would be. Darren was 9 hours behind me in time difference. I called him, told him of the situation and that not only would I miss the connecting flight, but I would also be unable to meet the driver due to pick me up in Denpasar at 9:00pm Indonesia time. He just sorted it all out for me. He stayed in contact with me for the whole 33 hours it took to travel from the top of Europe to Bali. He sent me international news updates, so I was aware of what was going on - because all the news broadcasts at the airport were in a language I didn't understand. I was utterly grateful to him for that. It meant the world to know that someone was with me, and looking after me during that time. I look forward to working with him for years to come!!

I like the comfort of using a travel agent to book my flights so that they are ticketed together in case one of the legs goes pear shaped. Darren always spends time trying different combinations of carriers and dates to get me the best price and flight time. I think time is money, so won't consider hopping all over the world just to get the best fare. Darren is responsive and easy to talk to consider different options.

We booked a New Year's Cruise to New Zealand through Darren at MTA Travel- this is the second time that we have used his expertise. Darren kept us updated on the changing plans that P&O sent to him. just returned perth west oz,what a delightful part of oz public transport airport to rockingham was so easy clean newish stations trains regular on time reliable reasonable fares/price..................allowing multi trips buses,trains and ferry. fuel prices in regional areas max prices $2.10 ltr diesal,$max 2.00 petrol allowed me to travel perth,mandrah,bunbree,busselton,denmark,albany,augusta back thru wheat areas reasonable motel prices availability all well in off season an excellent recommended trip pick weather,re airfares.....ned kelly is not dead ...now robbing travellers travelled qantas my opinion is that qantas is really lost my flying trips ...but thats another story go west young traveller cheers ray

Coming out of Covid, it was good to know Darren was there and available as I travelled. Bit of a security blanket. I hadn't used a travel agent in a while and realised what a relief it was to not have to go through the headache of navigating flights, hotels and travel requirements. Will definitely be using Darren again in the future and will recommend him to my friends.

Darren was great at navigating the new covid world in relation to international travel. His advice on where to travel and what to do was great. The hotel Darren suggested in Mauritius was beautiful and perfect for our honeymoon. All communication was clear and we felt comfortable travelling in a time of uncertainty.

Darren is not your normal travel agent. We were the classic 'book everything ourselves online' type of travellers but stumbled across Darren and are now converted - we have booked twice through Darren now and would never go back to doing it ourselves. The knowledge, service and special offers made our trips extremely memorable. When things didn't go to plan with COVID-19, Darren bent over backwards to make things work at no benefit to himself. Thanks for helping us realise our New York City adventure. Suggestion of flying Cathay was absolutely perfect - and about 80% of the cost of Qantas. Thanks too for listening to what WE wanted to do and stay and helping to book the Hotel we wanted and suggestions of what to do in town were really helpful too. And the App was super useful too for keeping everything organised. I just LOVE that you are the total anti-thesis of what I have experienced before with travel agents - not pushy, not annoying, not suggesting stuff just because there was a financial benefit to you.

This was an amazing trip, we loved the Celebrity Solstice which was a great recommendation for Darren. Everything was done for us to the point where we had to ask each other what we had missed. We enjoyed New Zealand and it is a great way to see many parts of the country.

Thanks for organizing our flights throughout Europe, everything went like clockwork, the MTA app is fantastic and very easy to use.

Great 11days in Legian Bali. Stayed at the Jayakarta Resort which has beautiful gardens and pool in a fantastic location however the 2 bedroom apartment we booked was a little tired! Plenty of shopping and good food around the resort. We used Darren’s driver kadek for transfers and day trips he was punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable. Day trips included- Ubud, Waterbom , rafting Orangutans breakfast . Kids had a great time!

My wife and I had a great week in Bali, staying at the Puri Saron Hotel in Seminyak, as a result of a suggestion from Darren. Everything went smoothly and the hotel was good value, really well located and great breakfasts! Many thanks Darren!

Darren you outdid yourself with our birthday trip to Paris this year. Hotel, location and flights were all superb! Where else can you find a hotel within walking distance of Luxembourg Gardens with open bar, including French champagne, every day.

Darren from MTA travel organized a 3 week holiday for our family of 7 to Thailand in December/January 2017/2018, we had the best time EVER! He listen to where we wanted to go, what we wanted to do and experience, every little detail of our trip was taken care of. We had a cancelled flight and Darren liased between the 2 airlines over several hours to make sure we all got home on time ( and he was on his holiday!) Once again Darren has organised an excellent 6 week holiday for me. He efficiently sorted issues with cancelled flights, rebooking both flights and accomodation, which I know was time consuming, all while I was busily having a great time.
