HERITANCE AARAH MALDIVES - June 2025
All I can say is that I have truly found paradise. We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2025, definitely not long enough.
It started with meeting the Heritance team at Male airport, they then escorted you to the Trans Maldivian Airways counter to weigh our bags and recieve our boarding documents. We were then whisked off into a van to the Seaplane terminal where we were able to relax in the Heritance VIP lounge which overlooked the seaplane terminal. Here you can help yourself to snacks, non-alcholic drinks and even a free mini massage.
Once our seaplane was ready for boarding the hosts escort you down to your waiting room, then we are walked to our plane which has our luggage already onboard. Planes seat around 14 passengers in rows of 1 and 2, it can get a bit warm in here so they have a couple of little fans to cool you down.
A scenic 45 minute flights was just breathtaking overlooking so many resorts. We had a super smooth landing and we were greated by our butler and a welcome song by staff.
Check in was a breeze, we just sat on a comfortable lounge whilst given welcome champagne, handed over our passports, met our butler who traded phone numbers on whats app, adjusted our phone time to island time (another hour difference) and before we had even finished our drinks, they were ready to take us to our Villa.
Our butler took us for a tour of the island first to show us where all the restaurants, day spa, water sports and bars were before taking us to our amazing Overwater Villa. He showed us how to work everything, our all important mini-bar that is replenished daily, he also had booked us in for dinner each night which he shared our itinerary he curated for us on whats app.
As soon as he left my husband stripped down to us Aquaman gear and jumped in the water, surrounded by tropical fish and turtles it was just one of those OMG moments.
Our Villa was huge, King bed overlooking the turquoise waters of the Maldives, along with a double seater lounge and single seater, huge storage cupboard and office desk plus bar area which also had a coffee pod nespresso machine. Yes guys there is a TV but you really don't need to turn it on with the view outside.
Our bathroom had a separate bath which also overlooked the outside waters, double sink vanity, separate toilet and shower. Our deck had a day bed, two sun loungers and round table with two chairs.
As you walk down the steps into the warm water there is a shower half way down, as you must shower off the salt before you come back into your Villa. Snorkeling was so good, we had turtles and tropical fish every day along with reef sharks and rays.
The food and drinks on offer were fantastic, so many options from themed buffets, a la carte, seafood and degustation menus, you will not go hungry here. Even by the pool they have all day snack many with woodfire pizzas, burgers and more. The cocktails were so good and one bar has 22 rums to try all included in your package.
Depending on how many nights you stay you can also receive up to four free excursions from sunset cruises to night fiishing. Your butler will book these in for you.
All I can say is WOW this place blew our minds, we were so impressed we are going back in 2027 for a week. I have 15 Villas on an early bird deal on hold, 5 have already sold, email me for further details.
