CAESARS PALACE LAS VEGAS - Feb 2025

We had a strip view room in the Colosseum tower which is probably the most convenient tower to be in, check in staff try and get you to upgrade to a better room for extra $$$ but we declined as we were only here for 2 nights in February. It is still quite a walk from reception to this tower but along carpet, so it is hard to wheel your luggage.
Our room was spacious and had views of the Mirage they were knocking down and we had some view of the Sphere which looks spectacular at night.
I'm not a fan of this hotel, having stayed at so many Vegas properties to compare it to. The resort fees were ridiculous USD55 per night and that didn't include the use of the in-room coffee machine you had to pay an extra USD20 to use it. Do not open or touch anything in the fridge or it will automatically charge you for that item. They have self check out machines but they didn't seem to work when we were leaving.
The complex itself we have walked through before and it seems nothing much has changed. If you are seeing a show at the Colosseum ensure you have booked in for dinner somewhere as the place is packed, the food court in particular is very busy on those nights.
Pools were closed and I wasn't able to get any photos as they had emptied them for renovation.
The location is super central, walk outside and you can either cross the road at the lights and be at Harrahs, Flamingo and Linq or walk over the overpass to be more towards the Cromwell soon to be changed to Vanderpumps.
We have never been to Vegas in the colder months and found the days were still very warm but in the afternoon the temperature dropped significantly.
