THE SAHARA LAS VEGAS - Feb 2025

We stayed here for 4 nights in February 2025. I chose this hotel to get out of the central strip area and also we had Keith Urban tickets at Fontainebleau which was just a block walk away, so super easy for us to get to and from the concert.
As we have been to Vegas so many times I don't mind staying this end of the strip as there are other areas to explore.
The new Sahara opened up only in August, 2019 so I wanted to give it a go. We had booked an Alexandria King Room, they have 3 towers and this room was superb. We were on the top floor overlooking the snow capped mountains and strip. King room had a massive long lounge, office desk, fridge you could use, huge space for clothes, separate toilet to the bathroom. The bathroom shower was massive and you can open the bedroom curtain across and look at the view from the shower.
The casino itself was less smokey than the others as it's still pretty new, had onsite pools where in summer they have pool parties. Onsite restaurants were very good value, we had happy hour tacos and drinks at Uno Mas Street Tacos, had an amazing duck rice dish at The Noodle Den plus also tried some pub food like Philly Cheesesteak at the onsite sports bar.
The Casino's key entertainment show is Magic Mike (no I did not see it)
The gaming floor is not as big as some casinos but still a good size, you still get free drinks while playing as long as you tip the waitress $1 they will be back to serve you more. I was drinking margaritas, wine and vodka all for $1.
Location wise for me I liked it, it is the first stop of the Monorail station, you can walk easily to The Strat, Circus Circus, Fontainebleau all within a block. Across the road is a Walgreens if you need any extra booze, snacks and souveniers.
It was a pleasant surprise staying here.
