Travel Insurance:
It is always recommended to have travel insurance to cover you for any unforeseen occurrence. Make sure you are aware if you have cover for any sports you will be undertaking, what the excess payable is, that you have appropriate value of trip cancellation and what level of cover for medical and emergencies, plus for personal valuables.
Don't always go for the cheapest as you need to make sure you are adequately covered.
To Note: If you think you have cover through your credit card, please check as most will only cover the bare minimum and often only trip cancellation.
