Hong Kong
I have a real love of Asia and the exciting cities and destinations on offer. One of my absolute favourites is Hong Kong. From Australia there are a many flights to choose from to match any budget, direct flights from most cities with Qantas and Cathay Pacific, or for those wanting best fares or a stopover, then there are many options via China or other Asian cities that might be better on the pocket.
Once in Hong Kong there is so much to do, see and eat. The city is alive with bargain or luxury shopping, trekking, bicycle tours, culinary tours, Chinese cultural sites (Giant Buddha), Cable rides on Ngong Ping 360 or Olympic Park, dolphin watching at Tai O fishing village, wet markets, The Peak Tram or even a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland. Many exciting restaurants and bars offer every possible choice of food - Aberdeen floating restaurant, Dim Sum and other Asian and European delicacies, plus entertainment for all travellers.
