Valparaiso, Chile

WOW! Was my first reaction to this beautiful unique port city, the colours and culture just blew me away.

My tip is start your journey exploring from the top of the streets you can experience a funicular to go up even higher or walk by foot down the quiet streets, you may bump into a street artist painting a new design on a home, take your time enjoying this journey.

I would recommend a minimum of 2 nights in Valparaiso. The Chilean beaches of Vina Del Mar are just around the corner, I recommend taking a trip to one of the local restaurants to dine on the fresh Chilean seafood.

As we said bye to Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar to do the short 90 minute drive back to Chile’s capital Santiago we called into a Vineyard in Casablanca valley to sample of the local wine and produce. The countryside is so green and lush making the produce and wine here in this region exceptional.

I can highly recommend this beautiful part of Chile and I hope to travel back here again soon.
