Dubrovnik, Croatia
This city ticks all the boxes, friendly people, history and amazing scenery and was one of my favourite cities that we stopped in while doing a Mediterranean cruise.
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city in Southern Croatia, despite the damage suffered during 1991 – 1992 this city now really shines, I can see why it’s such a popular tourist destination.
First stop is the cable car up to see some breathtaking panoramic views over the city and out over the Mediterranean. Next take a walk through the cobblestone streets of Old Town for shopping or dining.
I really would recommended taking a walk up and around the Ancient City Walls you will need comfortable walking shoes & there are a lot of steps but the views are well worth it, I just could not stop taking photos.
While standing up looking out over the walls you really know you are in the Mediterranean, this is one country that I cannot wait to get back too.
